If nothing helps, consult your doctor.
In the summer, we all love to swim, and sometimes happens to get water in the ear. In addition to being uncomfortable, it can be dangerous because it can lead to ear infections.
Here are a few ways to get water out from the ear, but if they don’t help, visit the doctor.
Make a solution from alcohol and vinegar
This mixture will clean the passage so the water can come out and along with it will prevent infection. The process is simple. Fill a bottle with alcohol and white vinegar proportionally and with a dropper put a few drops in the ear. Drain it from the ear by tilting the head. The acid will remove the earwax and clean the passage, and alcohol will help with water evaporation. This should not be practiced if you have a damaged eardrum.
Dry it with hot air
You can use a hair dryer. Switch to a lower heat and place it 30 inches away from the ear. Warm air will accelerate the water evaporation.
Jump on one leg
Lean your head on the side where the water is, stand on one leg and jump. At the same time pull the earlobe because it can spread the ear canal a bit.
Lie down and rely on gravity
Lie with face -down on the ear in which the water is and stay there for a few minutes. Gravity could help. Water will drain out of the ear because it will find a hole from which will come out.
Chew or pretend that you chew
The bones of the jaw are close to the ear and can help if you start chewing food. Eat something, put a piece of gum in your mouth or simply improvise. At the same time, lean your head down on the side that is clean of water and then sharply turn the head on the other side.
