Spiders can’t stand the smell of citrus fruits so you just need to get some lemon essential oil and spray it around the corners in your house to get a spider-free house. Citrus fruit peels can do wonders as well!

Chestnuts, walnuts and horse chestnuts are another effective spider repellent. Their scent contains a chemical which spiders hate – put some chestnuts on your windowsills and the critters will be gone soon!
Keep it clean
In addition to all of these natural repellents the first condition to keep your house spider-free is to keep it clean. Vacuum regularly, sweep the floors and clean up the clutter in your closets. Keep the yard well-maintained as well. Mow the lawns, close the window and door gaps and clean the balconies as regularly as you can!
