Nougat cake with cherries
The most favorite combination for many is this one. Cherries really provide such a mix of flavors, tart yet sweet and creamy. Once you try this recipe, you’ll keep coming back to it. Cherry lovers don’t want to hear about another treat!
The ingredients you will need for preparation are:

- 7 + 7 egg whites
- 7 + 7 spoons of sugar
- 1 + 1 yolk
- 7 + 7 spoons of ground walnuts
- 2 + 2 spoons of flour
- 1 bag of baking powder

- 900 milliliters of milk
- 12 egg yolks
- 15 spoons of sugar
- 2 vanilla flavored puddings
- 2 spoons of flour
- 200 grams of white chocolate
- 250 grams of margarine
- 200 grams of ground hazelnuts

- 1/2 liter of sweet cream
- 800 grams of cherries
Preparation procedure:
It is necessary to make two equal crusts. If you have a large baking sheet, you can make a larger one, and later cut it into two equal parts. You can also bake the crusts separately, if that’s more convenient for you.
To prepare the crust, you first need to beat the egg whites into stiff peaks. When the egg whites become firm, add a spoonful of sugar to them, whisking all the time. The egg whites will become smooth and creamy, and when you turn the bowl and they do not move, it means they are ready. Then add the yolks to them, and now mix them with a spoon.
When the egg whites and yolks are mixed, gradually add the flour, pastry and ground nuts and also mix everything with the help of a spoon or a blender. Therefore, it is important to mix slowly and with light movements, so that the egg white remains airy.
Cover the tray with baking paper, then pour the resulting mixture. Bake the crust at 180 degrees until it is nicely browned. Check with a toothpick if it’s done, then take it out to cool. In the meantime, make another crust using the same procedure, then also leave it to cool.
While the crusts are cooling, prepare the filling. For the first filling, first beat the egg yolks with sugar until foamy. Mix them with pudding and flour, then add a little milk and stir the mixture until it becomes liquid. The procedure is the same as when you prepare pudding, only now there are egg yolks and flour.
Bring the rest of the milk to a boil at a moderate temperature, and when the milk boils, gradually pour in the mixture and stir constantly. Stir for a few minutes so that the mixture thickens and is finely uniform. Remove from the heat and let it cool completely.
Only then add margarine to the filling and mix everything well with the help of a mixer, so that the mixture becomes smooth. Melt the chocolate and mix it into the filling, and finally add the ground hazelnuts. Mix everything well once again, now with the help of a spoon, and the first filling is ready.
For the second filling, you need to whip the sweet cream. Clean the cherries and drain the excess liquid.
Well, now comes the filling. You can fill the cake as you like, and it usually goes like this – crust, first filling, cherries, second filling (sweet cream). The procedure is repeated – the crust, the first filling, the cherries and finally the second filling, i.e. the sweet cream that you will spread evenly over the entire cake.
Decorate the cake additionally according to your taste, then place it in the fridge to set well before serving.
***Raspberry nougat cake is made in the same way, only use raspberries instead of cherries. You can also use other red fruits to taste, or even better, a mix of red fruits. The taste is also excellent, sour-sweet.
Nougat cake with hazelnuts
Hazelnuts give the nougat cake a sharp taste, and they combine well with other ingredients. Try this recipe first!
The ingredients you will need for preparation are:

- 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 egg whites
- 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 spoons of sugar
- 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 spoons of ground hazelnuts
- 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 spoons of flour

- 16 egg yolks
- 350 grams of powdered sugar
- 200 grams of white chocolate
- 300 grams of butter (or margarine)
- 100 grams of chopped hazelnuts

- 300 milliliters of sweet cream
- 200 milliliters of sour cream
- 100 grams of chocolate nougat
- 300 grams of cherries (raspberries, blueberries…)
Preparation procedure:
We conclude that we will need 4 equal crusts to prepare this cake, so we divided the ingredients into 4 equal parts.
So, beat 4 egg whites into snow. When they become firm, gradually add 4 spoons of sugar, and continue beating until the egg whites are well set, so that when you turn the bowl, they do not slide. Then add 1 tablespoon of flour and 4 tablespoons of ground hazelnuts. Now, with the help of a spoon, slowly mix everything together, making sure that the egg whites do not completely soften. You can add half a teaspoon of baking powder, to make sure that the crust will rise.
Pour the resulting mixture onto a lined baking sheet and bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes, or until it is nicely browned. Check if the crust is ready, then take it out, and bake the next three crusts in the same way. Leave all the crusts to cool while you prepare the filling.
Beat the egg yolks with powdered sugar first, then steam them. Stir often so that they don’t burn, and they need to cook well and become creamy. Then add the chocolate to them and stir until it melts and combines with the egg yolks.
Remove the pan from the heat and allow the egg yolks to cool completely. Then add butter to them and beat with the help of a mixer so that the filling becomes creamy. At the end, mix the hazelnuts into the filling, then mix everything so that the filling is uniform.
For the second filling, you need to whip the sweet cream well, then mix it with the sour cream. Add 100 grams of melted chocolate to it and mix well to combine.
Now comes the filling. Crust, part of the first filling, cherries and part of the second filling. Arrange the cake in that order further. At the end, cover the whole cake with the second filling, then put it in the freezer to set and cool.

When you add the dry ingredients, it’s best to mix the mixture with a spoon, because if you beat it quickly with a mixer, the eggs may soften and the crust will not be so generous.
Pour the mixture for the crust into a greased or lined tray, then bake at 200 degrees until it is nicely browned, which will take about 20 minutes. Take the finished crust out to cool, and you prepare the filling.
Pour milk into a pan, then immediately add sugar, then pudding, cocoa powder and chocolate. Stir a couple of times and let the mixture heat up slowly. When it becomes hot, start stirring to seal the pudding-like mixture. So it needs to be creamy and smooth.
Then remove the pan from the stove and let the filling cool. Then add margarine and powdered sugar to it, then beat everything together with the help of a mixer, so that a creamy and smooth mixture, or filling, is made.
Now comes the filling. Simply spread the resulting filling evenly over the crust. Beat the whipped cream well and spread it over the cake, additionally decorate it with crushed chocolate, and put it in the refrigerator to cool.
Nougat cake with white chocolate
Another recipe for chocolate lovers, but this time white. A cake prepared in this way is a real, really excellent gift for someone for a wedding or similar celebrations. It is so tender, juicy, creamy…..:)
The ingredients you will need for preparation are:

- 6 eggs
- 150 grams of sugar
- 100 grams of ground hazelnuts
- 125 grams of flour
- Vanilla extract to taste

- 1 liter of milk
- 2 vanilla flavored puddings
- 100 grams of sugar
- 60 grams of density
- 100 grams of white chocolate
- 250 grams of margarine
- 2 bags of whipped cream
- 150 grams of ground hazelnuts
Preparation procedure:
Separate the yolks from the whites, then add vanilla extract if you like that taste, and mix. Vanilla extract gives a great flavor to the crust in this case. Beat the egg whites slowly into stiff peaks, gradually adding the sugar. When the egg whites become firm so that they do not slide out of the pan when you turn it, it means that they are well beaten.
Then first add the yolk to them and mix slowly, then add the ground hazelnuts and flour and mix with light movements to combine the mixture. Do not mix quickly, as this will cause the egg whites to soften, and the crust will not be airy.
Transfer the resulting mixture to a greased or coated baking sheet, then bake at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes. Already after 15, check how it is progressing with the help of a toothpick. Take the finished crust out to cool, while you prepare the filling in the meantime.
Separate 200ml from the liter of milk and mix the pudding, sugar and thickener into it. Pour the remaining 800 ml into the saucepan and bring to a boil. When the milk from the pot boils, add the whipped pudding to it and continue mixing to make a fine, uniform and smooth mixture, i.e. the filling.
Remove the pan from the heat, then add the chocolate and stir to melt. Now let the pudding cool down.
Only when the pudding has completely cooled, add margarine to it and mix with the help of a mixer so that the mixture becomes finely creamy. At the end, add the whipped cream (unwhipped, powdered) and continue beating until everything is combined.
Separate a few spoonfuls of the resulting filling, you will use it to decorate the cake later. Add ground hazelnuts to the rest of the filling and mix well so that the filling is now finally uniform.
Next comes the filling. You can cut the crust into two equal parts and make a slightly taller cake, or you can fill only one crust – everything according to your taste. Of course, the filling goes evenly over the crust, and then over the filling the part you left for decoration. You can additionally decorate the cake as you see fit, so leave it to set in the freezer until serving.

For beginners, and those who do not have much time for preparation, we recommend that you buy ready-made crusts. Nougat cake without baking, i.e. without a crust, is definitely the best option when you don’t have time or don’t want to bother with the pastry.
